Diana Sadat is the founder and clinical director at Allura Sex Therapy Centre, a group practice in Vancouver that specializes and exclusively works with sexuality and couples issues. Diana shares her journey to becoming a sex therapist and owning a group practice.

She is here to talk about sexual desire and how she addresses it in her practice. Diana is throwing away the DSM terms and sharing with us basic steps to the sex life we deserve. Diana is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and a professor of human sexuality at a private university in Vancouver, Canada. She is the founder and clinical director at Allura Sex Therapy Centre, a group practice in Vancouver that specializes and exclusively works with sexuality and couples issues.

Her clinical specialties include low desire, sexual pain, and healing after sexual trauma, as well as less common issues related to paraphilias. She enjoys working with a broad variety of issues in therapy, as well as supporting other therapists in growing their skills and understanding in the field of sex therapy and sexuality.

Her passion and mission as a sex therapist is to help individuals and couples, as well as other therapists who may work with individuals and couples who are struggling with sexuality-based issues, to have a more connected and pleasure-focused relationship to their sexuality.
